Grid columns reordering

Right next to the columns selection, you may now choose the column ordering that suits you the most!

This feature was added quickly to cope with a side effect of the upcoming tags cardinality feature.

I've been postponing adding columns reordering for months or years now, because I wanted to do it nicely with drag and drop of columns in both grid header and column selection pop in.

But I'll do progressively. Here comes the feature, UX enhancements will come later ;) !

UI​

To reorder columns, open the column selection options in the grid toolbox.

  • Click the Up arrowhead to move the column before the preceding one
  • Click the Down arrowhead to move it after the next one

Saved in settings​

Columns ordering is saved in your user settings like all other UI customisation.
Everything behaves as you would expect!

Still...​

Columns ordering may not work on columns you never selected ;)
Please display the column before trying to order it =)
