Disabling an account

It is possible to disable a user account, when a user exit the company or when he is not authorized to access Spider anymore.

This is only possible for users with the correct right.

Process​

  1. Open the user's profile
  2. Click on Disable button

  1. A confirmation toast appears

  1. Click once again in less that 5s to confirm

Behind the scene​

The user status is changed to DELETED, and all his own UPLOAD type Whisperer are also deleted.

Recovery​

There is no automated recovery in case of error.
You would have to go and change the record in Elasticsearch, to change the status back to ACTIVE for the customer and its whisperers.
