Top navigation bar​

The top navigation bar spans the full width of the screen and is always visible. It is split into two rows.

1st row - Management & Search​

From left to right:

  • Team selector - select the team whose data you want to work with
  • Data dropdown - switch between captured data and network usage
  • Agent dropdown - select the Whisperer or Controller to observe
  • ATTACH button - attach a capture agent to a running pod (Kubernetes)
  • Search bar - always-visible, centered; expands on focus. Accepts free Lucene queries and shows search history when empty.
  • Queries buttonq - load/save/undo query
  • Share - share the current view via a link
  • Settings - open global settings
  • Profile - access your user profile

2nd row - Views & Filters​

  • View selection - switch between captured data views: HTTP, PostgreSQL, TCP sessions, Packets
  • Filters button - toggle the filters panel open or closed
  • Loaded saved query + current filters

Filters panel​

Clicking the FILTERS button opens a collapsible panel on the left side of the screen.

The filters panel contains Filter helpers: dropdowns, histograms and range sliders to build your search query without typing.
The available helpers depend on the selected View.
