Organisation management

Floocus-Organization.png

A distributor can create a new client (organization), and associate to it licenses and invoices.

Access rights

The solution includes access rights management, and email notifications.

An organization employee may also invite another employee to access the organization data.

Floocus-Invite.png

  • If the user does not exist in the system yet, the employee receives an email with an invitation link that allows him to create an account and be associated to the organization.
  • If the user already exists, it joins the organization employees.

The solution also manages distributors with access to many organization, and of course, Floocus support staff access.

Terms approval

Users are asked to validate terms and conditions at first connection.
Any change in terms will require another approval (reused from Spider).

Users profile

A 'forgot password' feature is also available.

License management

Floocus-License.png

A license includes the count of prepaid cors and their price, as well as the agreed price for extra cores.

The license keys may be regenerated in case of loss or theft.

License Usage

Are available all metrics collected by Spider and sent to Floocus, with nice graphics and a monthly aggregation.

Cost estimate

To help customers anticipate, understand and adjust their prepaid cores, a page is dedicated to license cost estimation.

Floocus-cost estimate simple.png

The prepaid cores are displayed in shades of blue, the extra / over cores in shades of red.

License cost is based on:

  • a prepaid number of cores
  • extra cores used, priced at higher cost

The cores usage is monitored every 20s and aggregated over all services of Spider system (except Elasticsearch & Kibana).

Ex:

  • If you prepay a 5 cores license,
  • And you're using 7 cores for 2h in the day, then 2 extra cores will be invoiced on top of the prepaid ones.

The extra cores price includes a multiplication factor of 0.33: each extra core is getting more expensive.

Use case: One license for several Spider setups

You may very well use the same license on several systems, but only the most used one will use the prepaid cores.

It is cheaper to buy several licenses.

Use case: Migrating Spider from one setup to another

When migrating Spider, the license prepaid cores will always be counted on the more expensive setup.
This means that you may gracefully shift the usage of a license from one setup to another without buying two licenses.
