Select a Whisperer

Whisperer concept​

A Whisperer is a Spider agent capturing data of the system to capture.
Selecting the Whisperer allows you to access the data it captured.
You may select many Whisperers at once.

Select a Whisperer​

To select a whisperer,

  1. Select Capture in the navigation bar. The agents list switched to Whisperers.
  2. Select the whisperer you want to access data from
    • You may select several at once by holding Shift or Control while selecting Whisperers
  3. If you don’t find it (only the first 20 are displayed), you may search by partial name, id…

The dropdown shows you the status of the Whisperer:

  • Connecting
  • Recording
  • Stopped
  • Error
  • ...

👉 Select the Whisperer you attached to the workload, or any other one.

Once selected​

The screen is updated with the default View and Mode.
The timeline shows when data has been captured.

The selected Whisperer is shown in a badge in the top left of the screen.

The status icon adapts to the selected Whisperers

  • Its status when alone
  • A multi-selection icon
  • The upload icon

The action buttons available depend on the type of Whisperer and your own rights.
